Wichita native, Gradey Dick, announced that he will be transferring to the usual national powerhouse, Sunrise Christian Academy. Last season’s Gatorade Player of the Year in the state already holds many high-major offers and has also grown in both the height and weight section.

He has grown from 6-foot-5 and 170-pounds to 6-foot-7 then now 195-pounds. He’s been an impactful player for a Sunrise Christian Academy squad that has had several games canceled.

Now, he has cut his list to seven programs, he told Stockrisers.com. The list includes Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Illinois, Kansas, Alabama, and Florida. He broke down each of his top schools with Stockrisers.com.

Kansas: “With Kansas, they were one of the first schools to recruit me, and as a hometown school, that meant a lot.”

Oklahoma State: “I like the coaching staff and the loyalty there how Cade stayed even when they had their allegations.”

Purdue: “They recruited me early and my brother actually works there in Lafayette so he helps with learning more about them.”

Florida: ”Their playstyle is a plus and it has been nice seeing what they do with their wings.”

Alabama: “They are one of the most recent to recruit me but their playstyle also really intrigues me.

Illinois: “They were also pretty recent in recruiting me and I like the freedom they give their players offensively.

Baylor: “Also one of the first schools to start recruiting me and the coaching staff is one of the best out there.”

Texas Tech: “I like the way they play and how they take pride in their defense.”
