Lakota West (Ohio) is having an outstanding 2025-26 season and is currently being viewed as a Top-25 program nationally, according to MaxPreps.
One of the stars and focal points for the program is none other than Top-50 junior and 6-foot-2 guard Joshua Tyson.
Tyson, who we’ve covered before, told Stockrisers.com this summer that this junior campaign was essential for him and had his sights set on some big-time team goals and also improving as a leader.
Evidently, his team has been terrific, and he’s playing the best basketball of his high school career. Tyson is fresh off a double-double (23 points, 11 assists) and has season averages of 17 points, five assists, and five rebounds, already improved from last year.
With the improved play and current state of both himself and his team, Tyson’s recruitment has also been a reflection of his terrific play, and he discussed it with Stockrisers.com.
