It has been a breakout 2026 for King Rachal. The 6-foot-7 wing was unranked just a year ago, but has since surged into the Top 50 in the class while emerging as one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the country.
Rachal earned First Team All-PRO16 honors this summer after an impressive season at DNA Prep. He also stood out at both the NBAPA Top 100 Camp and Jayson Tatum's Elite Camp, further solidifying his rise.
At 6-foot-7, Rachal combines size with impressive mobility. A smooth, long-range shooter, he can be lethal from beyond the arc, but his offensive game extends well beyond his perimeter shooting. He attacks closeouts, gets downhill effectively, and scores in a variety of ways, making him a versatile offensive threat.
On the defensive end, Rachal has made significant strides, developing into an impactful two-way prospect. College programs are drawn not only to his current production but also to his long-term potential, believing his combination of physical tools, skill set, and continued development gives him the upside to become a special player at the next level.
His offer sheet continues to grow. He has recently added new scholarship offers from Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, and Oregon, adding to the influx of offers he’s gotten the last few months.

Which schools are heavily involved?
“USC, UCLA, Utah State, Arizona State, San Diego State, Oregon State, and more. I also added new offers from Vanderbilt, Oregon, and Texas Tech.”
Thoughts on Texas Tech and what is the pitch?
“I like them a lot. They’re in a really good conference, and they said I can impact as a freshman if I attended there. Coach AC, one of the assistant coaches, hit me up yesterday and gave me the offer but also explained what the program could do to elevate my game and get me to the next level.”
How about Oregon?
“Coach [Yasir] Rosemond is the assistant coach. He called me and just gave me the real, while also telling me what they can do to impact my journey as well. I’m going to speak with the head coach as well.”
Vanderbilt?
“Coach Rodney was the one who called me. He conveyed to me how much he loved my game and how their school could get me to the next point in my career. He also said the staff loved me as well and were excited to be recruiting me.”
What’s your visit schedule like? Anything lined up?
“Currently, we have set Utah State and San Diego State for official visits. We are working on getting dates with other schools like ASU, USC, UCLA, and more by August.”
Any type of commitment timeline in mind?
“Not really, just looking to take my visits and see which school really feels like home.”
How would you describe your game to someone who hasn’t watched?
“I can shoot, I can guard 1-5, I’m versatile, I’m very explosive, and I’m getting a way better handle as a way to elevate my game even further.”
What does the CPSA program mean to you?
“This program has helped me get to the point where I’m at. It was my first year with them, but the platform and the coaches helped me and got me where I needed to be. The coaching staff is amazing, including Clint and Hotbread. They will coach you very hard and are looking to get you better, but also win.”
Finally, what are your goals for your senior season?
“My goal is to get stronger and even better than I am. I also want to prepare myself for the next level and have an amazing senior year.”
