Nike EYBL’s Summer MVP, Brady Pettigrew, has emerged as one of the most highly sought-after recruits in the country. Averaging 24 points, five rebounds, and two steals per game on the circuit will certainly put a player in that category.
The 2028 five-star recruit was also named The Herald-News Player of the Year after leading Bolingbrook to a state championship appearance.
Pettigrew averaged 20 points per game during his sophomore campaign, further establishing himself as one of the premier players in his class.
The 6-foot-4 guard currently headlines one of the busiest recruitments in the country. With his combination of skill, versatility, and all-around ability, Pettigrew has all the tools to be an immediate impact player at the next level. So much so that there has been growing speculation about a potential jump into the 2027 class.
I asked Pettigrew whether the reclassification talks were officially over. His response to Stockrisers.com:
“No, it’s not over. It depends on what college I feel like is the right fit.”
Pettigrew also took the time to sit down with Stockrisers.com to discuss his recruitment in its entirety.

Thoughts on your Duke offer, and what is Scheyer pitching?
