Rapid Fire: Talking recruiting with five-star junior Darius Wabbington
One of the nation’s top-rated bigs, Darius Wabbington, has had a huge year both on the court and with his recruitment.
The 6-10 five-star in the 2027 class had a dominating sophomore year this Spring that ultimately translated into the summer, priming him for a massive junior year.
Wabbington began his sophomore year averaging 13.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and nearly two blocks per game, asserting his dominance around the rim.
His numbers on the EYBL circuit with Arizona Unity? almost identical.
He put up 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and nearly two blocks per game this summer on the circuit. Wabbington’s game translates, and he’s always improving.
