We spoke with him a month ago, but the recruitment of five-star junior and Calvary Baptist (Louisiana) star Tyrone Jamison continues to gain new suitors.

The 6-2 guard is gearing up for USA Basketball Fall Camp and is completely dialed in on putting on a show there this week. With that being said, he’s got a busy recruitment currently, and programs continue to enter the mix with one of 2027’s top-rated guards.

Last time we spoke, Jamison called himself a wolf, saying he would kill everything in front of him on the basketball court and would defend his opponent's best player.

Coaches from several programs that have watched Jamison have been blown away not only by his effectiveness on the court, but his work ethic and leadership off of it.

Jamison told Stockrisers.com, “LSU, Maryland, Arkansas, Baylor, Miami,” are a few of the schools heavily involved.

He added that Louisville and Iowa, which both recently watched him practice, have made it evident that they are heavily involved as well.

Jamison on Louisville:

It’s a great program. Coach [Pat] Kelsey is turning it around and talking with him and Coach Ronnie [Hamilton], they’d want me to come in as a freshman and give me the keys.

Jamison on Iowa:

I talked to Coach Williams and he was just letting me know how much I’m wanted and how I can fit in their program.

Maryland has also been in recently for Jamison at one of his open gyms.

He said the following on the Terrapins:

I talk to Coach Rocc every day and talk to Coach Buzz [Williams] a lot, and he preaches to me how much I’m needed and how I can fit.

Jamison is gearing up for USA camp this week and says he feels good and well-prepared heading into a camp filled with tons of talent.
