Five-star junior Darius Wabbington schedules visits, talks recruitment

You can make the argument that Sunnyslope High School (Arizona) has one of the best bigs in the entire country in Darius Wabbington.
The 6-10 five-star in the 2027 class had a dominating sophomore year this Spring that ultimately translated into the summer and primes him for a massive junior year.
Wabbington began his sophomore year averaging 13.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and nearly two blocks per game, asserting his dominance around the rim.
His numbers on the EYBL circuit with Arizona Unity? almost identical.
He put up 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and nearly two blocks per game this summer on the circuit. Wabbington’s game translates, and he’s always improving.
One aspect of his game I’ve seen evolve is his shooting. He’s got a nice touch and has been able to knock down shots and keep defenses honest. His all-around game is elite for a big man, and he’s wanted by plenty of schools.
He got with Stockrisers.com and gave an update on his recruitment.
