The contact period has been a busy one for Top-25 prospect Jeremiah Green.

Denton Guyer’s 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard has been a hot commodity since college coaches have been able to contact 2025 prospects. He’s landed several offers and is on the radar of all high-major coaches nationally.

A lot of the reason for all the attention was Green’s performance at Nike Elite’s Top-100 camp, where he was one of the camp's top performers, and scorers. In addition, Green has had a strong AAU campaign and is primed for a huge junior-year jump with Denton Guyer.

Green has proved his worth as one of the top-scoring guards in his class, and at the last EYBL session to cap off May, Green came out firing. He finished with a 30-point, six-assist performance against Vegas Elite. Following that, Green had a 21-point outing versus JL3.

His performance last week at Nike Elite camp topped that off, now his recruitment is flowing.

Who reached out during the contact period?

On night one of the contact period, Green heard from Florida State, Arkansas, Kansas State, UTSA, Texas Tech, LSU, Alabama, West Virginia, Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, and Mississippi State.

The list continued to grow afterward, and he discussed his recruitment with Stockrisers.com.

Which schools would you say are the heaviest involved?

“Kansas State, Houston, LSU, and Oklahoma State.”

Any new schools?

“I think South Carolina is the only new one that’s reached out. I’ve talked to all of them before either through my AAU coach or high school coach.”

What are your overall thoughts on Kansas State?

“I like Kansas State. I’ve built a great relationship with Coach Tang, Coach Ulric, and the rest of the staff. They see a lot in me and believe they can get the best out of me. The unofficial visit I went on last year was great and the tournament run was a plus too.”

How about Houston?

“I feel the same way about Houston. I’ve gotten close with Coach Sampson and Coach Q. They’re all about their guards and my play style really fits what they do. They’ve built a great culture and it’s also not that far from where I live.”

I gotta ask, what was the offer from Kansas like?

“It was crazy. It’s a blue-blood school and they won the championship recently, so getting that [offer] meant a lot to me. Also, Jalen Wilson went to the high school I go to now and he was in Kansas the last couple of years so that was also kinda crazy too.”

Are you planning any visits?

“Yeah, I got a couple in mind we just have to finalize the dates.”

How would you describe your game?

“I’d say I’m an all-around point guard. Play-style is very similar to De’Aaron Fox and a little bit of Darius Garland. My strengths are my quickness, explosiveness, IQ, scoring, playmaking, and defense.”

And finally, how would you like your game to evolve?

“I want to become a better passer and continue to improve my three-point range.”
