Top-50 incoming junior Trent Sisley talks his recruitment, visits
It’s been a season full of growth for Top-50 2025 prospect Trent Sisley. The Heritage Hills star had a phenomenal year. He averaged 26.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.4 blocks per game while shooting 65 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range.
In addition, Sisley is playing up with the Indy Heat’s 17U squad on the EYBL circuit and has been a very big addition to them. He’s shooting nearly 55% from the field to begin the last few EYBL sessions and has also shown some big-time evolvement, once placing as a top performer following one of the sessions this month.
In addition, at 6-foot-8, 195-pounds, Sisley provides a unique skill set, one that not many have in his class at his size. He’s got a great combination of size and skill, runs the floor super well, very fluid dribbler, and is also a three-level scorer.
Sisley’s recruitment was pretty straightforward when I visited with him a few months ago. Just a handful of offers, but now, seems as if Sisley’s recruitment has taken another leap with some pretty big visits approaching over the next few weeks.
He chopped it up with Stockrisers.com and we went in-depth on some of his suitors and he also gave us the inside on where he will be today.

“Notre Dame, Northwestern, Indiana, Purdue, and Michigan State as of now.”
Have any new schools reached out since the last EYBL session?
“Florida.”
What are your thoughts on Notre Dame and your relationship with Coach Shrewsberry?
“My relationship with Coach Shrewsberry is good. I talked to Coach for the first time when he offered me a scholarship. As far as the rest of the program, they’ve had coaches in contact with my dad and my coaches right now.”
What about Northwestern? Your thoughts on the program?
“Yeah, I talked to Coach Collins and Coach Lowery over the phone when they offered me. They have also stayed in constant contact since they offered me. Getting on campus should be good, so I can see everything.”
Purdue, your relationship with them and Coach Painter?
“My relationship with Purdue has been good. They’ve been involved for a while now and have stayed consistent the whole time.”
Visits?
“Northwestern today and Notre Dame tomorrow.”
How do you feel your game evolved this AAU season so far?
“It’s been good for my game. I’ve had to learn and adjust to the speed and physicality of playing up. My shooting has improved from the first few sessions to the last few.”
