Four-star junior Will Richardson discusses his recruitment
New Jersey has been the home to many talented guards over recent years, the latest one blooming out of the 2022 class is Bergen Catholic’s Will Richardson. The 6-foot-2 guard is one of the most balanced guard prospects on the East Coast and he proved that during his sophomore year.
He averaged 18 points per game and added over five assists in 29 games this season. In addition, NJ.com named him the state’s player of the year after his performance in the state tournament where he averaged over 22 points per game over a three-game span and led Bergen Catholic to a non-public state championship.
He plays his AAU ball for the PSA Scholars. Richardson is focused on both basketball and academics and it’s evident in his recruitment process. You’ll see several high-academic programs show up on both his offers and interest list.
