When you look at some of the late-bloomers across the country, one name that comes to mind is Westtown’s Jalen Warley. In December, he held just a limited amount of offers, but, after a successful junior campaign, he watched himself rise into a five-star caliber player and is ranked no lower than the Top-25 on any site.

It started at the PSA Showcase, an event that Stockrisers.com was in attendance for. He put up 25 points in a win against the dominant Brewster Academy. From there, he attended the Chick-Fil-A classic and once again dominated against national competition, it leads to 20+ offers which were now cut down.

He’s currently down to ten programs, those include Florida State, Virginia, Miami, Louisville, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Maryland, LSU, and Memphis.

Warley says that all programs that he has listed on his final list are all still involved but some aren’t on the same level as others due to commitments that happened recently. Obviously he will have instant playing time on any of the programs he has on his list but commitments at the same position are still something to note.

Recently, he’s completed zoom calls with Memphis, Virginia, and Florida State, saying “These zooms have been mainly game film and virtual visits based. A lot of pictures graphics and film work.”

As of right now, Warley isn’t 100% set on the college route.

The G-League has contacted some people around me in my corner. Depending on if my school will open will determine any immediate decision for this upcoming year,”

Warley said. He hasn’t yet set a date for his commitment or a timetable. Warley is focused on his game and then just making the best decision for him.
