If anyone has seen their recruitment blast off during the COVID-19 pandemic, I would bet on James Graham III. The Nicolet product helped lead them to a 22-3 record after averaging nearly 20 points per game and shot 55% from the field.

Prior to the start of quarantine and the dead period, Graham III only held two division one offers, which include: Rutgers and DePaul. But oh man, did he witness himself have an extreme takeoff in his recruitment over the past few months.

Auburn, Maryland, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Arizona State, DePaul, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, amongst many other college programs are heavily involved.

Recently he completed several zoom calls including ones with two programs who are seen as possible landing spots for Graham III in Indiana and Michigan State. He placed his thoughts on each of those zoom calls and how they went:

Michigan State: “It was very good. It was our second one so this one was just all about catching up with the staff.”

Indiana: “With IU it was a really in-depth zoom with clips of things they see me doing and the campus as well as their culture.”

Graham III also told Stockrisers.com that it’s likely that he will cut his list down sometime next week which is interesting because there are three new programs that have entered the mix. “Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida are the newest schools to express interest,” Graham III said.

That makes things very interesting because Graham III said that those new programs are trying to build a relationship with him and they are looking forward to seeing more game films and streams of him playing.

Finally, Graham III said that he is aiming to commit prior to his senior year. Will be very interesting to see how this recruitment pans out.
