Zion Green has asserted himself as one of the most skilled forwards in the entire country.

The 6-foot-9 dynamic forward has had a terrific few weeks to begin the summer, including his play at both Pangos and Top-100 camp, and his continued play on the Pro16 Circuit.

Green’s been a steady Top-50 guy all year, but I feel this is a summer where he has the opportunity to establish himself and become a very highly-rated five-star recruit.

When it comes to a combination of skill, IQ, Green provides everything that is lethal for a guy with a 6-foot-9 frame. He can hurt you with his explosiveness downhill, but he can also hurt you from the mid-range and perimeter.

With the continued growth of his game, college programs continue to rave over Green, and he’s become one of the more attractive recruits in the entire class.

Which schools are heavily involved?

“Michigan, Villanova, Providence, Kansas, Oklahoma, Auburn.”

Any newer schools?

“Alabama, Ole Miss. Syracuse just re-offered.”

Are you in the process of planning visits?

“No, not yet, but I’m looking to start planning.”

What are your thoughts on Alabama and their pitch?

“I like Alabama and all the history that they have. Their pitch to me is just play hard and stay in the gym.”

How about Syracuse’s new staff?

“I like the new coaching staff. I saw everything they did last year with going to the Sweet 16.”

Thoughts on Michigan, post-Dusty leaving?

“I think Michigan still has a chance to compete for a national championship with Dusty gone.”

Thoughts on Villanova?

“I like Villanova. I took an unofficial visit. The coaching staff has been in contact with me since. They saw how I played at the Top-100 and loved my game.”

How about Providence?

“It’s been good. They've been recruiting me hard.”

How would you describe your game?

“Crafty.”
