Despite being unranked, we could see a major rankings boost from 6-foot-10 big man and Massachusetts native, Kyle Filipowski. He’s seen an absolute flood of offers come in this past week, as eight total offers came in.

The newest one? Creighton. They join a list of several other programs including Louisville, Iowa, UConn, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Maryland, Marquette, Xavier, Virginia Tech, Boston College, and Bryant.

Many other schools have started to show interest as well, that list includes: Indiana, Purdue, Ohio State, Illinois, Georgia, Virginia, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Michigan, and plenty of others.

Notre Dame was also a newer program involved and are extremely high on Filipowski, despite not having an offer just yet. He’s already been in contact with the Irish’s head coach Mike Brey.

“My conversations with the coaches have been cool. They talk about what they like about me, what they see in me, and what I can bring to their program. They also talk about what they have to offer me in their program and how they can make me the best version of me on and off the court,” he told Stockrisers.com.

In addition, I asked Filipowski how he would scout his own game, loved the response from him.

“So I consider my game as an all-around type of style. I can either post up on a guard or big and from there I can face up or make a move with my back to the basket.”

“I can also take it out on the perimeter and shoot it from anywhere on the court or drive and create for others as well as get the rebound and push a break. I’ve played basically every position on the court being able to guard multiple positions and feel comfortable wherever coach puts me but it also depends on my mismatch situation.”
