It was an impressive summer for West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West star guard Josh Tyson on the Adidas USSB circuit.

The 6-2 guard averaged nearly 15 points per game and almost completely translated the stats he averaged during his sophomore year at Lakota West, which was also impressive.

During his sophomore campaign, Tyson averaged 15.5 points per game along with four rebounds and nearly two steals per game. The talented lead guard helped his squad reach the state semifinals while shooting 60% from the field during the campaign, including 42% from three.

The Ohio native has seen his recruitment pick up after a successful sophomore year, which continued with a strong summer. He also recently stood out at the Adidas All-American camp, capping off what was a Stock-rising year for Josh Tyson.

Tyson tells Stockrisers.com he will visit Butler unofficially this Friday.

Butler is one of many programs that Tyson told Stockrisers.com is heavily in the mix; the others include Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Xavier, West Virginia, and Ohio State.

In addition, a massive influx of new schools is showing interest, including: Notre Dame, UCLA, Auburn, Creighton, Tennessee, Michigan State, Missouri, Stanford, USC, and Virginia.

Tyson sat down with Stockrisers.com to discuss some of his suitors, upcoming visits, and a brief breakdown of his game.
