Four-star senior Johnathan Lawson sets commitment date
Memphis native and four-star senior Johnathan Lawson is down to six schools and has also set his commitment date. Lawson, the dynamic-wing, is down to Iowa State, Oregon, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Memphis.
The Tigers are the sixth and final school that Lawson added to his original final list. Penny Hardaway offered him a few months back, then didn't make the cut for his final list and then Lawson ended up adding them on August 31st.
Lawson will commit on October 7th, his 18th birthday. He’s also weighing a possible reclass into the 2020 class. The reclass wouldn't be immediate, he would opt to enroll in January and begin developing under one of these program’s systems.
No favorite in the recruitment currently for Lawson who says that he also grew to 6-foot-8 this summer.
