Top-35 senior Alex Fudge breaks down his final ten schools
Jacksonville (FL.) native Alex Fudge was one of last season’s biggest Stock risers (no pun). Today the 6-foot-6 wing is down to ten programs, he told Stockrisers.com and he broke each one down with us.
The list includes: Texas A&M, Texas, Florida, Georgia, USC, LSU, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, UCF.
Texas A&M: “With Texas A&M I feel I’ve already established a close relationship with the whole staff it’s almost like they are family now. Even the relationship with Jaxson [Robinson] and Manny [Obaseki] is also tight, they told me that my role would be to go in and play right away if I put in hard work. I feel like it could be a really good fit there.”
Texas: “Coach Smart told me that he wanted to coach me and right away i could come in and play as a freshman. He told me if I work hard I could possibly have a major role in their offensive system as well.”
Florida: “Coach Mike [White] told me and expressed to me that I’m a need in their program. A long athletic wing is needed at Florida. Told me I could impact as a freshman.”
Georgia: “Coach [Tom] Crean has also told me I could come in and play valuable minutes. He’s one of the coaches that will evaluate my game and only correct the wrongs and explain how he could help improve them at Georgia.”
USC: “USC is a diffrent culture. They believe I can be a one or two-year and done. Coming in to fill in the place of those leaving.”
LSU: “Being that my family is from Baton Rouge It’s cool. Coach Wade is the main one recruiting me at LSU. Seeing how they use Trendon [Watford], I could come in and do the same my freshman year.”
Alabama: “Coach Nate [Oats] made it known to me they are looking for a wing in the class of 2021 and I’m one of the ones that they want badly. I feel I could fit in their offensive system and play my style of play quick and fast at Alabama. They’ve been on me early and still has been recruiting me.”
Georgia Tech: “Coach Pastner and Coach Swartz made it known that they want and need me. They stress the development part, they want to help me improve and get to the next level.”
Arkansas: “Coach Musselman and his entire staff recruits me the hardest. Everyday they call, and they evaluate my games and send improvements. I’m close with the staff.”
UCF: “The whole entire staff at UCF, I am familiar with. They’ve been recruiting me since 10th grade and have a familiar face on their team that I wouldn’t mind teaming up with in Isaiah Adams, it would be a nice fit as well.”
I asked Fudge what his commitment timetable is looking like and he is unsure at the moment.
