Breaking: James Graham III is headed to Maryland

After pushing back his commitment decision for several days, four-star junior James Graham III has chosen his next destination. He will commit to Maryland and play for Mark Turgeon, he told Stockrisers.com. The Terps were the chosen program over the Auburn Tigers. 

“I knew when I asked coaches from Maryland and Auburn to give me space. I could only imagine myself in a Maryland jersey,” he told Stockrisers.com.

Graham III is arguably one of the nation’s breakout players of the year. He burst onto the scene early this spring when coincidentally Maryland became his first high-major offer. 

He credits the Maryland staff who he is excited to play for as having an impact on his decision:

“I love all the members of the staff and we are ready to work. Coach Turgeon has produced pros at my position and has really high hopes with me."

He was unranked prior to April and recognized the Maryland staff as being the first high-level staff to believe in him.
