Breaking: Florida State lands Jalen Warley
Another recruiting win for Leonard Hamilton as he lands five-star junior Jalen Warley as the five-star guard out of Westtown tells Stockrisers.com that he’s headed to Tallahassee. The Seminoles were one of the last offers that Warley landed, but, a major push from the staff went on notice from him and he ultimately loved the opportunity to play at FSU.
"I feel like FSU specializes in big guards and playing in the ACC has been my dream since i was young."
This class for Hamilton and Co. is bound to be special. Last year, Bryce McGowens verbally committed and watched himself boost all the way to a Top-50 prospect. After that they landed five-star junior Matthew Cleveland who in one scouts eye, could turn into a premier Top-10 prospect.
Warley is thrilled to join this talented class in which he will instantly make an impact.
"Regardless of any rankings sites or new commitments i know we have the best class in the country. The class we’ve been able to bring in is really special and something historical for the school. Don’t be surprised if you see members of the 2021 class raise a national championship trophy at some point."
When talking with Warley he mentioned Leonard Hamilton plenty of times, calling him ‘special'
"Coach Hamilton made me feel like a priority every time i spoke to him over the phone. He is a special kind of person and coach and someone I am really excited to learn under and go to war with."
To cap it off, he says that there never was a definite leader but FSU was always at the top of his list:
"There was never a leader in my recruitment but at all time i would have 2-5 schools that i could see myself playing at. These would change month to month but FSU always was at the top of the list."
