Kaleb Glenn is staying home.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound small forward out of Louisville Male High School, is staying at home and will play for Chris Mack and the Louisville Cardinals, he told Stockrisers.com. Glenn was an official visit this past weekend at UofL and he also attended the school’s annual Louisville Live event, most notably known for being a huge recruiting showcase as well.

I was able to actually attend a Kaleb Glenn workout last week and it’s funny because earlier that day, he had a 5:00 AM workout as well, who attended that workout? Louisville’s Chris Mack. He said that it made him feel even more like a priority than he already was, could it have played a factor in his commitment, maybe apart, but that was a big deal in the recruitment of Glenn.

Among the other programs in the hunt were Indiana, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ohio State, amongst several others.

Glenn took two straight weekend visits to Louisville but it took his first-ever college official visit, at home, for him to close things down.

It wasn’t just about to fit either which made this matchmake work, it was also that Glenn fits in with the recent criteria of prospects to be recruited from in the state of Louisville.

“They tell me they have coached a few players from Louisville and they think that I will fit in with them and they want me to be that next Louisville player,” Glenn said.

And how does Glenn break down his game?

“I like to use my versatility a lot. Depending on the matchup I can shoot the three, take them off the dribble, and also go down low and I’ve got a mid-post game.”

Glenn also said prior to his official visit that he was super excited for the visit and his first Louisville Live event. Afterward, he said the visit followed thru with his expectations and he was really happy with how it went, now, he ends up a Louisville Cardinal.

Why Louisville?

Louisville because I felt in my heart that I should be attending to Louisville and I didn’t want to waste time when I been known where I was going.”

Did your visit seal the deal?

“I was already thinking about committing to Louisville prior to the visit but when I came away from the visit I felt like it was the place for me to be and it sealed the deal officially.”

Did your official visit play a factor?

Yes, it sealed the deal for me on Louisville.”

Your relationship with Coach Mack?

“I and Mack have a great relationship, we talk all the time. And it is not just with him, I have a great relationship with everyone in the program. I know all of them.”

Who will you recruit?

“Jared McCain, Dusty Stromer, Rodney Rice for ‘22, as of right now.”
