Breaking: Creighton lands four-star senior TyTy Washington

Greg McDermott picks up the commitment of TyTy Washington, he told Stockrisers.com. This is a major pickup for Creighton who beat out Illinois for the commitment of the talented Top-60 guard out of Arizona Compass Prep.

Washington has established himself as one of the breakout players of the season so far as he’s recorded multiple 30+ point games early on against national competition.

But why Creighton?

”I chose Creighton because I have a good relationship with Coach McDermott and everything he was saying and showing me about the style of play, he wasn’t lying because I saw it with my own two eyes.”

The atmosphere?

”And the atmosphere there is amazing. The fan base and the atmosphere is different and every home game is going to be fun.

How was your off-season

“My off-season was really just for me to stay in shape and get stronger. This past summer, I was able to work out on my body with my strength coach. My coaches provided me with the keys to the gym so I and my family took advantage of it.”

Describe your game for Creighton fans.

“I’m a bigger point guard who likes to create for my teammates and score. Most importantly, I think I’m just a winner who will literally do anything it takes to win.”
