Four-star junior Cason Wallace talks recruitment, game

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've been able to discover some of the most underrated prospects in each class. You look at the 2022 class and how deep the talent level is. As for Cason Wallace not only is he underrated nationally but he also competes in one of the top-rated state’s in the country, Texas.

The 6-foot-3 guard out of Richardson High School is wanted by many programs for his ‘dog mentality’ and one of the toughest players in the nation also leads a very nice recruitment early in his process.

Arkansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Texas A&M, TCU, are among the many programs in the mix currently from Wallace who seems to get a new offer weekly. On that topic, Wallace has a new suitor in the mix coming out of the Pac-12: Arizona.

Wallace alerted Stockrisers.com on Thursday morning that Arizona extended him an offer the night before. Sean Miller has been eying Texas’ 2022 class for months and now gets in the mix with Wallace.

Arizona isn’t the only program now entering the mix, Wallace said.

Michigan, Illinois, are also among the newer programs involved. In addition, he said that he completed zoom calls with Texas A&M, Baylor, Kansas State, and TCU.

My opinion on Wallace’s recruitment is that it’s still very early and plenty of more programs you can't think of right now could enter the mix eventually. Blue bloods will also likely take notice.
