2022 prospect Jordan Walsh discusses his recruitment

The state of Texas has an extremely deep 2022 class, that includes four-star prospect and consensus Top-150 recruit Jordan Walsh. The 6-foot-6 wing is a very skilled prospect who prides himself on defense saying ‘I can guard anywhere from the one through the five’ and can score on all three levels.

He leads himself busy recruitment which has heated up over the past few months with several new programs entering the mix. The most recent offer was extended by Auburn and head coach Bruce Pearl, who is just one of the many SEC coaches heavily involved with Walsh.

Walsh told Stockrisers.com that he speaks with Arkansas’ Eric Musselman very consistently.

“I talk to Coach Musselman a lot and we talk about nutrition and he helps me realize what I need to work on.”

Another SEC coach in the mix is Texas A&M’s Buzz Williams: “Buzz and I talk a lot. He talks about getting stronger and lifiting and how much of a difference it makes.”

The others involved in his recruitment include Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU, Prairie View A&M, Texas Rio Grand Valley, Florida, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Cal, Auburn, Miss. State.

LSU, Purdue, BYU, are also interested.

Walsh won his squad a championship on a buzzer beating dunk and that’s one thing that Walsh also prides himself on is winning. I fully expect more programs to get involved as it is still early and he enters his junior season.
