Arizona Compass Prep is emerging as one of the nation’s top-ranked prep programs. They’ve got a roster loaded with high-level talent and they’ve got a guard who’s been lighting up the stat sheet over the last few games.

TyTy Washington is his name.

Has scored over 90+ points in his last three games which includes multiple 30-point outings. The 6-foot-3 and 185-pound senior has also recorded over seven assists in each of those high-scoring outings. His skill set is one that you would want to add to your college program if you’re a coach recruiting him. Scores the ball efficiently and could also involve his teammates.

On Saturday, he gave Stockrisers.com the news to break on his commitment date which is set for November 15th which is one week away.

Washington took the time to answer some questions with Stockrisers.com on his recruitment.

Which programs are still involved?

Washington: “Illinois, Creighton, and San Diego State.”

Those are your final three schools?

Washington: “No, just the ones I really talk to every day.”

So who else is in the mix?

Washington: “Santa Barbara, Arizona State, Minnesota, Auburn, and Washington State.”

How do you feel about your recruitment?

Washington: “My recruitment is down to the end, I’m getting close to making my decision.”

When will that be?

Washington: “November 15th my commitment date is set.”

Describe your game.

Washington: “I’m a bigger point guard who likes to create for my teammates and score. Most importantly, I think I’m just a winner who will literally do anything it takes to win.”

How was your off-season development?

Washington: “My off-season was really just for me to stay in shape and get stronger. This past summer, I was able to work out on my body with my strength coach. My coaches provided me with the keys to the gym so I and my family took advantage of it.”
