Quincy Allen is ranked amongst the Top-50 juniors in the country according to 247Sports. He’s slotted as the No. 46 overall player in the composite rankings.
Allen is one of the most underrated prospects in the class. An injury that he was hit with left people with a lot of question marks but a proven high school career gives Allen all the evidence that he’s legit.
According to 247Sports, he was once rated as a Top-20 prospect in the class las year. Now sitting at No. 46, as we stated above, I expect plenty of more programs to get involved.
He holds offers from many schools but says the main ones prioritizing him are: Michigan, Louisville, LSU, UConn,Colorado, NC State, Miami, Georgetown, and Nebraska.
In addition, he says that new programs begin to get involved regularly. Most recently, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Auburn are the newest to show interest, while Michigan and Louisville are the newest offers.
Obviously with everything going on, Allen couldn’t visit all the programs involved, especially the new ones. His last official visit taken was to Colorado, now, plenty of the schools involved are doing virtual visits.
“I’ve taken virtual visits with Miami, Colorado, UConn, Georgetown, LSU, Louisville, Michigan.” He also says that he will complete one with Nebraska next week.
As far as next steps, Allen says that he will cut his list down to five programs in July or August and then aims for a winter decision date.
