Efton Reid could be arguably the most underrated players within the Top-30 in the 2021 class. The 7-footer from Virginia plays for the Steward school and has no shortage of suitors pursuing him.
“Right now the schools that are on me are Virginia, Georgetown, Miami, Ohio State, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, NC State, Iowa State, Wake Forest,” Reid said.
He took visits to Virginia and Louisville to cap off the 2019-20 college basketball season, one thing he said about his official visit to Louisville was the atmosphere in the KFC Yum! Center.
In addition, Reid says the newest program to reach out and get involved is Michigan. The Wolverines now looking at the 7-footer.
With the current virus outbreak going on right now, Reid said it has kept him out of gyms and he hasn’t been able to get on-court workouts done. But, as far as his recruitment it didn’t mess anything up but might have changed things.
“If AAU gets cancelled, my circle and I will sit down and discuss my future,” Reid said. Where it stands many are under the impression they won’t be playing for a while and therefore have moved things up.
