Canadian prospect Karim Mane has been a name that has been spoken about for months as a potential professional prospect. After an outstanding year last year with Canada Elite and the Canadian national team at Fiba’s, NBA scouts saw him as a potential option.
“My focus remains on college,” Mane told Stockrisers.com. But he also says that he hasn’t counted out the professional route. He’s currently projected by ESPN.com to get drafted in the late-first to early-second rounds.
Mane took official visits to Maryland and Marquette and is currently in the process of planning other visits. The outbreak might interfere with his visit process but he says he will still figure things out in coming weeks.
Marquette, Michigan State, Alabama, DePaul, Wake Forest, among many others remain involved. Mane doesn’t currently have a timetable on anything but will figure things out in the next few weeks.
