Erik Stevenson took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that he’d be transferring from Wichita State.
Stevenson, a 6-foot-3-inch sophomore guard from Lacey, Washington, just finished up his second season at WSU 11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals in 25.9 minutes per game this season.
He’s given Stockrisers.com the full list of programs that have reached out to him. The list is extremely long and is racking up by the day.
Two days ago the storm began, he heard from nearly 15+ programs after he announced his transfer and the list was as followed.
The list continued that night as he heard from programs like Florida, South Carolina, Arizona, and Memphis.
Yesterday, Oregon, Texas Tech, and TCU would follow suit and reach out to Stevenson early in the day.
Finally, to end yesterday and an illustrious two days for Stevenson, Indiana was the latest program to reach out to the Wichita State transfer.
Stevenson is currently in no rush to plan anything especially with the recent virus outbreak. I highly expect schools to continue to reach out as this is an intriguing potential shot maker with two years of eligibility remaining.
