Skyy Clark is ranked amongst the Top-15 sophomores in the nation and hit the ground running to begin his high school season. He’s now finishing it on a good note and will play this spring and summer with the Oakland Soldiers.
Last time we spoke to Clark, he gave Stockrisers.com a full rundown on his game and a scouting report, this time we focus on the recruitment of the Heritage Christian star.
This weekend, he is in Lexington where he is taking a long-awaited unofficial visit to Kentucky as they face SEC rival, Auburn.
“I’m expecting it to be an amazing trip. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Kentucky’s campus, training facilities, atmosphere, etc. i’m super excited for this visit,” Clark told Stockrisers.com
In addition, he took an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt this month and has plans to visit several other programs that have interest in him.
Gonzaga, Florida State, Depaul, Michigan, Arizona, Vanderbilt, Memphis, and Georgetown, are among the programs he stated are on him hard.
His father, Kenny Clark, told Stockrisers.com that he’s working on visits to Gonzaga, Florida State and Arizona but that nothing is currently planned. Another thing Clark mentioned, the possibility of moving into 2021.
He said it hasn’t been discussed but if he believes by that time that he’s ready for the next level he will discuss it with his parents and coaches.
