This past summer, Stockrisers.com was first to report that former five-star junior, now Top-50 senior JT Thor would move up into the 2020 class where he originally started and transfer from Huntington Prep [WV] to Norcross High School [GA].
In addition, Thor pretty much shut things down and announced a final-five of Georgia, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, UCLA, and Kansas. “Still the same five involved,” Thor said. Says that each school is in contact every now and then and that coaches have been visiting as of late.
UCLA is the latest to send staff in. The Bruins have a solid class with five-star Daishen Nix and another Top-50 guard, Jaylen Clark. With several guard spots on the roster, the Bruins are looking to add a marquee big like Thor.
Thor best describes himself as a ‘small forward that can play multiple positions and compete’ – – also says that this Wednesday’s game against Grayson is the biggest game of the year, early sellout for two of the top teams in Georgia.
As far as his recruitment, Thor says a decision will likely come in April but that nothing is definite as of now.
