Five-star sophomore Skyy Clark talks recruitment and more

Skyy Clark is quickly turning himself into one of the nation’s top-guards and one of the best sophomores in his entire class. With Heritage Christian he’s been dominant this season, no other word could really describe his play.

As far as his recruitment? his dominant play has translated into offers from Michigan, Memphis, UCLA, Texas Tech and others. In addition, he’s already garnering blue blood interest which I expect to take a jump this summer.

“I’d like to visit Michigan, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Florida State, DePaul, Georgetown, Arizona, Memphis and a few others,” Clark told Stockrisers.com

Clark mentions DePaul, a familiar program to him and his family. In eighth grade, Clark committed to Dave Leitao and built a great relationship with the DePaul staff. Now, he’s obviously decommitted but the Big East program hasn’t counted out any chance they’ve got.

Another program mentioned a lot with Clark but hasn’t offered yet: Kentucky.

“Kentucky has been on me heavy. Coach Justice has been in to see me workout twice.” In addition, as mentioned before, Clark says he’d like to visit Kentucky.

Clark listed several schools that haven’t offered but have interest: “Gonzaga, Kentucky, Oregon, Duke and UNC.”

I asked Skyy for his personal scouting report, his answer?”I’m a point guard. I love to get my team involved and. I can get a bucket if needed. One thing i’ve improved on since my freshman year is my jumpshot. I have a very good mid-range game and catch and shoot three ball. I love to play defense and I’m a leader. I can do anything you need basically.”
