Lynn Greer III is one of the nation’s top guards and it’s been that way for the last two years. Months back he opted to reclass down from the 2020 class to the 2021 class.
Fast forward months later and Greer is having a dominant season with Roman Catholic and college coaches are vying to land him for the 2020 class.
“2020 remains an option for me but only if it’s the right fit,” Greer III told Stockrisers.com.
Prior to his move into the 2021 class he has scheduled visits to Temple and Florida, two schools who were on him extremely hard. His father played at Temple so some thought that he’d wind up there as well.
Greer III says a majority of the schools that were on him remain involved except UNLV who has a new staff.
He did list off several schools that are currently on him (not a final list or all schools):
“Marquette, Miami, Georgetown, Ohio State and Florida.” Both OSU an UF did watch Greer III at the recent City Of Palms tournament. There’s more schools then what he listed off, he did land several offers after his move into 2021.
As far as his recent play, Greer III sounded off on his early season successes: “I’ve been playing good but I can play better and it starts from the work I put in in the gym everyday.”
Nothing is set for Greer III as far as visits or a timetable on a decision. Keep an eye out on this one, kid is dynamic and super talented.
