On July 14th, Michigan’s head man Juwan Howard extended an offer to four-star senior Terrance Williams who was already down to three schools and was closing up the process.
The Wolverines never really stood a chance and he committed to Georgetown just days later. Now? that’s completely changed. Williams decommitted on December 5th amidst the announcements of issues surrounding players in the program.
Since he’s been offered by 10+ programs including UCLA, Notre Dame, Providence, and others. I’d say that Michigan leads the current race and he told Stockrisers.com last night that he takes an official to Ann Arbor on December 28th.
“Michigan is Michigan. I love what Coach Howard was saying on how I can fit into his system with my toughness and versatility to play inside and out in the Big 10,” Williams said.
That statement was made after UM offered him first in July, he still agrees with that and beyond. In addition, Williams’ AAU teammate and close friend Hunter Dickinson just announced his commitment to the Wolverines.
Could Juwan Howard land another Top tier recruit in his first year on the job?
