He was once ranked amongst the Top-50 in the 2020 class. Lynn Greer III, is now a member of the 2021 class in a move that he believes will take him to the next level.
“I reclassified to improve my body before going to college and I was already young for my grade and I have a lot to prove to people this year and summer,” Greer III told Stockrisers.com.
He will continue to play at Roman Catholic high school, where he went off last season. He lines up with guys like Jalen Duren and Justice Williams, both ranked among the Top-20 players in the 2022 class.
“My school goals, Have an undefeated year, win city of palms and win the philadelphia catholic league again and create a brotherhood with my teammates.”
As for his recruitment, schools like Villanova, Florida, Temple, Iowa, Marquette, Miami, and several other programs. Greer III says all the schools that recruited him remain involved including some new schools that have gotten in on the 6-foot-2 guard.
“Georgia and Nebraska are the newest schools on me and both have extended offers.” He’s also taken one unofficial visit since the move to 2021 and that was an unofficial to Villanova, a school who’s recruited Greer III hard since he’s a local.
For AAU play this year, he will be running with Jon Kuminga and the NY Rens. He will be the lead guard and will attempt to prove several wrong, as Greer III says.
