Breaking: John Hugley IV commits to Pittsburgh

“I’ve wanted to commit to Pittsburgh since my junior year.” Those were the words of John Hugley IV, who tells Stockrisers that he’s committing to Jeff Capel and Pittsburgh of the ACC.

“I picked Pitt because I think it’s the best fit for me and I think Coach Capel is going to help me get to the next level,” Hugley IV said.

Hugley has taken three visits, one official and unofficial last month, during his recruitment by Pittsburgh.

He also had some wise words to say on his future head coach, Jeff Capel: “I think Coach Jeff Capel is a very nice guy and very respectful and he kept it real with me and my family from the start.”

In addition, Hugley IV says that he will be heavily pursuing RJ Davis because “He’s the missing piece.”

He joins Noah Collier and Max Amadasun for Pittsburgh’s 2020 class.
