Jon Kuminga: “I’m staying in 2021.” Also says he’s open to all schools, sets junior year goals

One of the nation’s top recruits, regardless of class, Jon Kuminga, has the likes of Duke, Kentucky, Auburn, and several others on him.

Recently, there’s been several crystal ball predictions made in favor of him landing in Baton Rouge with Will Wade and the LSU Tigers. Kuminga says “It’s fake news, i’m open to all schools recruiting me.” Despite it just being a prediction, Kuminga wants it made clear that he really is considering anyone.

There was also a time, and it still occurs, where people came out saying that they think he could reclassify to 2020. “I’m staying in 2021,” Kuminga told Stockrisers. Obviously, that is an option that could change and is available to him to make at any point this season and beyond.

This season, Kuminga makes a transition to playing at The Patrick School in New Jersey alongside four-star guard Noah Farrakhan and Top-150 junior and close friend of Kuminga’s, Bretner Mutombo.

“I want to win the biggest tournament in New Jersey and just keep working [on my game],” Kuminga told Stockrisers.

Kuminga is rated as the top-ranked junior in the country by every recruiting service.
