He’s ranked amongst the Top-50 on every outlet, ranked as high as 31 by 247 Sports, Manny Obaseki has established himself as one of the top juniors in the country and in the state of Texas.
He bursted onto the scene this Spring with Mudiay Elite, landing over 10+ high major offers. He’s also had tons of coaches come watch him recently and now has a new option as high school season approaches.
Obaseki tells Stockrisers that he is now thinking about potentially moving into the 2020 class which would ultimately move him one step closer to his dream.
“It would help put my family and I in the best position to reach the NBA as well as being able to help contribute to whatever college I go to in the future,” Obaseki said.
Texas A&M, OU, OSU, Tech, TCU, Illinois, & Arkansas, are the schools that Obaseki listed. With Alabama being the newest interest as they will watch him at a workout today.
He’s also scheduled an official visit to Oklahoma for this weekend, which we reported yesterday. He’s also booked an unofficial visit to Texas A&M for October 12th.
Back to the 2020 option. He said that Texas A&M and Texas Tech are amongst those that have talked to him about reclassification.
