Colin Smith is one of the top-2022 prospects in the country and has already bolstered offers from Kansas, Georgetown, Texas, Baylor, among many others.
“Mostly the Big twelve schools including: Kansas, Texas, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State, etc. Also a couple out of state schools like Georgetown and Oklahoma,” Smith said.
While Stanford, Michigan, Florida State, LSU are showing a lot of interest,” Smith said.
He also said he’s working on taking some visits really soon.
Personal Scouting Report:
“I would call myself a all-around and two-way player. On the defensive end I able to guard 1 through 4, I can also lock-up who I’m guarding. My defense has picked up this year with help from Coach Brown. Offense I can shoot from deep and then I can drive and finish the rim, and if the defense focuses too much on me I can find the open teammate with a accurate pass.”
— Also said he models his game after KD and Lebron:
“I like to model my game off a lot of players. For one I like to model it like KD getting to my spot and being knock down shooter, but also gets it done on the opposite end. Also Lebron by driving and finishing tough around the basket and making really good passing.”
In addition, we asked Smith about his relationship with five-star junior Harrison Ingram and if a possible college team-up could happen, his answer:
“Harrison and I are like best friends because we’ve known each other since 4th grade and it could be a option, but we haven’t really talked about it that much. We might speak on it a little bit in the future.”
