Marquette lands Justin Lewis

He’s improved every single season since his freshmen year, Top-75 prospect Justin Lewis is now headed to play for Steve Wojciechowski and the Marquette Golden Eagles.

“I knew they were the school after I left my visit,” Lewis told Stockrisers. He took an official visit on June 1st, wasn’t his first time attending campus either.

But why Marquette for Justin Lewis, who chose them over schools like Seton Hall, Maryland, UConn, Virginia Tech, and others.

“I chose Marquette just because it’s a great school also a great coaching staff and they believed in me since day one, and made me a priority and their consistent recruitment and being there at every game or providing feedback on my game didn’t go unnoticed.”

Last year, Marquette really dug in on Lewis and started recruiting him real hard. Went to almost every game for him last season and then made a visit up to his school that really caught Lewis’ attention.

“It started last year when coach Wojo and Killings came up to my school to see my mom, sister, and coach and we’ve been building ever since.”
