If any player in the 2021 class made a statement this weekend and a case for a fifth-star it without a doubt Mokan Elite’s Kennedy Chandler. The 50th overall prospect in the 2021 class, according to Rivals, finished Peach Jam a champion and averaged 14.1 points along with six dimes.
“Man when that buzzer went off… it was a great experience you know my first time playing this peach jam it was a crazy atmosphere, me and my team just went out there a played hard every single game and we deserved that win,” Chandler told Stockrisers.
With his outstanding play came an immediate impact on his recruitment off the floor. This spring he already landed 10+ high majors and the most recent one during Peach Jam when Penny Hardaway and Memphis extended one.
Since, he’s garnered new interest from the following: “North Carolina, Duke, Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville, and Kansas.”
