It’s safe to say that Alabama Fusion’s Colby Jones has been one of the top-breakout players on the EYBL circuit this spring.
The 6-5 guard holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Xavier, Clemson, among many others. He took many visits with the only official being to Yale.
This week, he and Alabama Fusion fell short as they didn’t advance in Peach Jam. But, here’s what Jones told Stockrisers on his experience:
“It was crazy. There was a lot of coaches and it was standing room only for all of our games, crazy.”
Going back to his recruitment, assuming coaches agree, his play from this week definitely helped boost his stock. Among the schools on him hard:
“I talk to Xavier, Georgia, Yale, Harvard, Iowa State pretty much every day so I have a great relationship with all the coaches,” Jones told Stockrisers.
Final Words and next steps:
“’ll probably cut my list down in a few weeks and I don’t have a timeline for my commitment
“After I cut my list I’ll sit down and plan my visits with my final-five”
