Chance Westry has had himself quite the summer on the recruiting end. Recently, the rising sophomore has picked up offers from VCU, Florida, and the big one, Michigan.
The Michigan offer meant a lot to Westry and his family, here’s what he said to Stockrisers on it:
“Michigan is a school that my family loves, so when I got the information that they had offered, it made me proud of myself and the work I have put into get that offer.”
He also holds offers from DePaul, Penn State, Georgetown, and Providence, to go with the other three offers we spoke about.
Westry told Stockrisers that he has tentative plans to visit Temple and that he’s also thinking about other visits and what schools him and his family are comfortable with early in his recruitment.
How does Westry describe himself on the court?
“I’m a vocal leader and guy that can score with ease and put my other teammates in position to score.”
