Ryan Kalkbrenner is one of the top shot blockers in the country. Besides the fact that his defense has been noticed, he’s also landed offers from several programs varying from the Pac-12 to the Big-12, all the way to the Big-10.
Most recently the University of Pittsburgh offered Kalkbrenner, besides that several schools are on him pretty hard.
“Illinois, Kansas State, Xavier, Stanford, and Creighton, are on me the hardest,” Kalkbrenner said.
He also told Stockrisers that he has scheduled an official visit, as well as an unofficial. Beginning June 12th, Kalkbrenner will head to Creighton where he will take an official visit, which will end the 14th.
Just three days later, Kalkbrenner will make the trip down to Illinois where he will take an unofficial visit on June 17th.
Why that visit is unofficial?
Easy travel, no reason to use one of his five officials if it is so close, especially with a west coast school recruiting him heavily.
