Donovan Johnson, four-star junior, could be the top breakout player of the spring.
Several 30-point performances, as well as landing many high major offers including Miami, North Carolina, Maryland, Louisville, and Pittsburgh, amongst others.
“Many teams are on me hard it’s tough to pick a couple, they all talk to me a lot,” Johnson said.
Johnson has plans to take some visits this summer but he took one recently to Miami, who’s one of his more recent offers.
“Miami had a really nice campus, I enjoyed the visit.
One of his more recent offers comes from the University of North Carolina, an offer that meant a lot to Johnson due to the fact that his brother Cameron was a star for them last season.
“The UNC offer was crazy, Coach Williams called me and talked about what the school is like and we also spoke about Cameron.”
As for a decision date, Donovan doesn’t really have any idea when he will decide. “When the time comes,” Johnson said. He does plan to take visits, as stated earlier in the interview, and those will come this summer.
