This season, five-star junior Cam Thomas established himself as one of the best scorers in the country. Teaming up with Cole Anthony, Kofi Cockburn, among others, Thomas and Oak Hill has an outstanding season.
With his successful season came his blossoming recruitment. He landed several high major offers and will continue to be prioritized throughout the country.
A few months back, Thomas took an official visit to UConn. His only official visit. The Huskies have remained consistent with Thomas and are definitely one of the schools on him hardest.
“The schools that are on my the hardest are NC State, Oregon, Virginia Tech, UConn, Pittsburgh, Miami, Kansas, and LSU just offered me as well,” Thomas said.
With the lone visit to UConn, Thomas says no other visits will be set as of now.
“I don’t have any visits coming up I just want to finish the AAU season first, then the visits.”
As for his game, Thomas gave us a scouting report on himself:
“My game is a Combo Guard who can score, make plays for others, rebound, and defend. Teams play me as the two guard, but if I’m needed to play some PG I can definitely do that.”
As we said earlier, this season Thomas has established himself as one of the top scorers in the country, his thoughts?
“Just being mentioned in that category as the best scorer in the class is great because it shows my hard work in the gym is paying off so it’s just great to be in the conversation.”
