Alabama Fusion guard Colby Jones has had himself quite the weekend on the EYBL circuit. Had himself 23 points and 12 rebounds in the first game this weekend, then 25 points the game after.
His scoring outbursts have been consistent for the last two sessions. In between that time he’s landed offers from Georgia, Clemson, and Xavier.
“Clemson, Xavier, Georgia, Yale, Harvard, and UAB, are probably on me the hardest right now,” Jones said.
He took an official visit to Yale in April, his only visit and has plans to visit three programs this summer.
“I’ll probably visit Xavier, Clemson, and Georgia, sometime this summer.”
Recently he’s added that Alabama has been in contact with him a lot. “Coach Pettway has been texting me.”
His high school teammate, Trendon Watford, has been a major target for Alabama, that’s something to note. While on the topic of high school, Jones says that he will finish his senior year at Mountain Brook rather than going prep.
“I’m definitely staying at Mountain Brook, I love it there.”
