Nimari Burnett is a top-35 junior who plays his basketball for Prolific Prep. This weekend he’d fly from Prolific to Chicago, then headed to Louisville, KY.
He arrived on Friday night where he attended the team’s practice just one day before a marquee afternoon matchup with the Virginia Cavaliers.
Despite seeing the Cardinals lose, Burnett experienced a sold out game at one of the top arenas in college sports, the KFC Yum! Center.
“It was very fun, they just gotta close out,” Burnett said.
As for the atmosphere, Burnett noted how cool the fans were.
“The atmosphere is what I love, the game was fun,” Burnett said.
He’s also built a relationship with the coaching staff, what he said on them was as followed: “They’re really cool, and they keep it real.”
Now, Burnett will finish the night in Louisville but early tomorrow morning he will fly to Ann Arbor and take an unofficial visit to Michigan for their matchup with Michigan State.
