Four-star junior Ethan Morton breaks down recruitment and more.

Ethan Morton best describes his game as this: “I think I’m a pass-first guy that can affect the game in a lot of different ways with my length and iq.”

With his terrific game comes his blossoming recruitment. At one point he nabbed offers from many high majors including most notably an offer from John Beilein and Michigan, the program’s second 2020 offer.

Schools on him the hardest?

“I would say Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Marquette, Northwestern, and Stanford.”

Upcoming visits?

As for visits, this weekend he took an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh, he watched Jeff Capel’s squad square off with NC State. Morton has become one of the main targets for the 2020 class.

Otherwise, Morton said nothing else visit wise is planned as of now. Could see more visits planned in the future.

Decision timetable?

“Hopefully I could make a decision by early fall of next year, or maybe even before that.”
