Lester Quinones plans late spring commitment, potential visit plans, more. He discusses it all with Stockrisers.

“I’m a knockdown shooter who can also create his own shot when needed, underrated as a passer and ball handler and is one of the best if not the best two-way player in the country, and can lead a team to victory.”

That’s how one of the top-available seniors Lester Quinones describes himself.

As for his recruitment, it surged over the past few months and it just hasn’t stopped. Recently he announced he will trim his list to six soon, we took sometime to discuss his recruitment.

“Well a ton of schools have texted and I’ve cut to about six, not exactly six but around it and almost every school has been coming hard,” Quinones said.

Among the schools on him the hardest?

“Maryland, LSU, Michigan, Memphis, Georgia, Ohio State, Pitt, and Miami, been texting a lot.”

Visit plans?

“Michigan is the next visit. It’s getting planned, there is no exact date. Memphis, Georgia, and Ohio State are the other schools I’m choosing to visit at the moment, I haven’t really chosen them all yet.”

Commitment timetable?

“I’m planning to commit late spring,” Quinones said.

Quinones will be ranked as one of the top-50 players in the class of 2019 in Stockrisers updated mid-season rankings.
