After lighting up the circuit this summer with Team Final, Freshman Jalen Duren began to get the attention of some high-major programs.
“Miami and Penn State are the ones that have offered me,” Duren said. The most recent being Miami in the month of November.
As for interest, he’s got interest from a local powerhouse and a big-10 program.
“Nova has reached out to me a bunch of times, same with Maryland but no offer yet.”
Duren originally had plans to visit Maryland with teammate Justice Williams after a strong summer, expect a visit in the near future.
The Roman Catholic big also had the chance to go to USABB camp in October.
“USA was an amazing experience I learned a lot out there from the staff and coaches,” Duren said on USABB.
As for his game, he’s a dynamic forward who can do a bunch of things.
“I feel like I’m the type player who can definitely impact both sides of the floor and do whatever my team needs me to do for us to win.”
